Description
Timorasso Derthona is a straw-yellow coloured wine with light golden reflections.
This is a native Piedmontese vine, which is grown in Sarezzano, in the heart of the Colli Tortonesi (Southern Piedmont)
Thanks to the south-east position, and the clayey and calcareous soil, the wine is suited to aging, by structuring an intense and complex taste over time.
The Timorasso Derthona Marchese d’Azeglio ages for 12-14 months in steel tanks on its lees with frequent batonnages, while the refinement in the bottle takes place for 4 months.
The resulting wine is rich, savoury white, pleasantly drinkable.
